This 1,7t mini excavtor features a fully new style design, reflecting the “Innovation leads to value” of Sunward. We enjoy now in the 1.5 to 1.8 t. class a mini-excavator with a cab (also available with canopy). But more than design, the SWE 17F is excelling in terms of durability, reliability, performance and easy maintenance. On top of its EU certification, the Sunward SWE 17F, like all Sunward machines on the European market, is designed to meet European customer needs. In the case of the SWE 17F, we can even tell that it has been developed especially to me the need of the European market.

POWERFUL & RELIABLE ENGINE

We chose the powerful Yanmar 3TNV80F-SSU engine featuring low fuel consumption, low noise and vibration levels, and high-altitude performance control, ensuring intensive work under severe environment. This 13.4 kW industrial diesel engine is both EPA Final Tier 4 and EU Stage V compliant, and its compact design means it can fulfill a variety of roles. The Yanmar engine perfectly matches with the power of hydraulic system, guarantying smooth operation. This engine is the perfect fit for our reliable and versatile Sunward SWE 17F.

PREMIUM COMPONENTS

All key components in Sunward excavators are carefully selected, from Yanmar engine to hydraulics. Because hydraulics are often regarded as the heart of the machine, Sunward sources exclusively from the highest references in the market. For our Sunward SWE 17F, we selected Japanese premium brand NACHI to be our main supplier for the hydraulic pump and the traveling and swing motor. NACHI pumps and components for construction machinery are efficient, reliable, and space-saving. So, it’s no coincidence that Sunward selected them to contribute to the SWE 17F’s reliability.

COMPACT DESIGN

The SWE 17F’s extendable undercarriage – the track width can be extended from 990 mm to 1 360 mm – provides robust stability,ensuring safe and comfortable operation in all kinds of job applications, including restricted work sites. When retracted, it allows the SWE 17F can drive through doors. This compact design makes the SWE 17F mini-excavator ideal for transportation. The SWE 17F does more than simply align with the EU’s transportation regulations – truly compact (990 mm width) and lightweight (1 640 – 1 780 kg), it allows easy, safe and secure transport.

HIGH WORKING RANGE

Despite its very compact size, the SWE 17F has powerful lifting & digging forces and long reach capacity. The SWE 17F has exceptional digging forces of over 21 kN (bucket) and almost 12 kN (arm). And when it comes to its long-reach digging capacity, the SWE 17F boom cylinder design provides a reach of 1 110 mm long.
